There's pop-up ads, inline ads, AI slop, pop-up requests to register or sign-up, misinformation, scripts that cause miserable loading, cookie approval pop-ups, bloated code frameworks, dark patterns, automatic page refresh to reload new ads, tracking cookies, propaganda, analytics trackers, content and styling that jumps around as JavaScript does who knows what, and all sorts of other shit with the singular purpose of monetizing your visit that generate the side effect of making things torturous.

Bleah.
